Everything you never knew you wanted to know about the Mercury Project
Boy sized pressure suits
From RixWiki
On a recent trip to the w:National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport, I discovered an interesting manikin the size of a young boy wearing a Mercury pressure suit. It seems that B.F. Goodrich made about a dozen of these to be given to VIPs.
The outside of the suit is quite accurate, however the helmet is very simplified and the boots appear to be just white galoshes.
