MA-10 was to have been an extended duration flight. Spacecraft 15 was designated for this flight, and was extensively modified. Several of the interior details of the Atomic City 1:12 scale Mercury spacecraft kit were taken from Spacecraft 15 and as such differ from those in the flown Mercury spacecraft.
MA-10 was cancelled when the Mercury program was terminated with the successful outcome of MA-9
