SOFAR bombs

SOFAR bombs were part of the range of recovery aids in the Mercury spacecraft. These were pressure triggered sonar bombs which would give a sonar fix if the spacecraft sank. Oddly enough they seemed to have failed to work in the one case where the capsule sank MR-4.
The SOFAR bombs were deleted after the MA-6 flight. This is mentioned in the description of spacecraft 18.
