Introduction

This template is intended to provide the initial text for articles on Mercury Spacecraft components and systems.

To start such an article enter:

and then save the article. This will populate it with the contents of this template. Then edit and save the article as appropriate.

Official Specifications

The following descriptions are taken from the various editions of SEDR-104 Mercury Familiarization Manual in which the description changed in any way.

December 1959

The following specification of the Component Specification in this edition applies to the following spacecraft:

   * Spacecraft 18
   * Spacecraft 19
   * Spacecraft 20

Note that Spacecraft 20, although it was a specification capsule in the prior edition, had now been transferred to the Eighteen orbit mission program.
